David Tyler Davies was born May 14, 1867 in Barley Mow Lampeter, Wales. He married Mary Elizabeth Price and they had two children, Eirlys Tyler-Davies and Alun Tyler-Davies

Thomas Rhys Davies was born in 1872 in Barley Mow Lampeter, Wales. He married Emily (surname unknown) and they had three daughters, Edith Davies, Margery Davies and Peggy Davies.

David Davies died before his son David's wedding day (he was noted as deceased on their marriage certificate) ie sometime before 14 January 1903.
